Is the 4-Prong H Hook Carrier resistant to high or low temperatures?

The 4-Prong H Hook Carrier is an important component commonly found in modern curtain accessories and is made of polyoxymethylene. As an engineering plastic, polyoxymethylene is widely used in various household and industrial products due to its excellent mechanical properties and chemical stability.

The temperature resistance of polyoxymethylene (POM) material is usually reflected in its ability to maintain stable physical properties over a wide temperature range. It has high tensile strength, excellent wear resistance and low friction coefficient, which makes it widely used in many scenarios that require strength and wear resistance. The temperature resistance of polyoxymethylene is a major advantage of the material. It can usually withstand a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C, which allows the 4-Prong H Hook Carrier to work stably in most home and commercial environments. However, despite the good temperature resistance of polyoxymethylene, its high and low temperature resistance capabilities are still limited, especially under extreme temperature conditions.

The high temperature resistance of polyoxymethylene is relatively good, but its temperature resistance limit is usually around +100°C. Beyond this temperature range, polyoxymethylene will undergo physical property changes, which are manifested as softening, deformation, and even loss of some strength. For example, when the temperature exceeds 100°C, the polyoxymethylene material will become softer, which may cause the shape of the four-claw H-type hook bracket to change, and the curtain cannot be firmly fixed, affecting the use effect. Higher temperature conditions may even cause material degradation, cracking or brittleness, which greatly shortens its service life.

Therefore, when using the four-claw H-type hook bracket, it should be avoided from being exposed to high temperature environments, especially long-term exposure to direct sunlight, or near heat sources such as heaters, ovens, heaters, etc. If the curtain hook bracket is installed near a window and the location is exposed to sunlight for a long time, sun protection measures should be taken, such as using curtains or shading materials for protection to reduce the impact of high temperature on the hook bracket.

The low temperature resistance of polyoxymethylene materials is also excellent. Generally, polyoxymethylene can maintain its mechanical strength and toughness in an environment as low as -40°C. The four-claw H-type hook bracket can still work effectively in a cold environment and will not become fragile due to low temperatures. However, at extremely low temperatures, the toughness of polyoxymethylene material will decrease, and it may become more fragile, especially when subjected to strong external impact, and it is prone to cracking or breaking.

Therefore, when using the four-claw H-type hook bracket in a low temperature environment, care should be taken to avoid violent impact or severe mechanical action. Especially in winter in cold areas, if the four-claw H-type hook bracket is exposed to the external environment for a long time, or rapid temperature fluctuations occur in cold weather, the bracket material may become more fragile. In this case, even slight external force may cause damage.

In order to maximize the service life of the four-claw H-type hook bracket, the impact of low temperature on the product can be reduced by avoiding drastic temperature changes, regularly checking the fixing status of the hook, and maintaining a proper installation position.
